Fuel prices in Spain continue to fluctuate, forcing drivers to stay informed in order to optimize their expenses. The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge has published the current prices of gasoline, diesel, and gas oil in several cities.
In Madrid, the prices are as follows: Gasóleo A has a maximum price of 2.049 euros per liter and a minimum price of 1.719 euros per liter. The Premium Gasóleo A, on the other hand, varies from a maximum of 2.099 euros to a minimum of 1.745 euros. As for gasoline, Gasolina 95 E5 reaches a maximum of 1.929 euros and a minimum of 1.569 euros, while Gasolina 98 E5 ranges from 2.049 euros to 1.729 euros.
In Barcelona, the prices show a slight difference: Gasóleo A is between 2.019 and 1.729 euros; Premium Gasóleo A, from 2.094 to 1.809 euros; Gasolina 95 E5, from 1.834 to 1.559 euros; and Gasolina 98 E5, from 1.964 to 1.739 euros.
In Málaga, the prices are: Gasóleo A, maximum 2.019 euros and minimum 1.748 euros; Premium Gasóleo A, 2.099 and 1.808 euros; Gasolina 95 E5, from 1.859 to 1.628 euros; and Gasolina 98 E5, from 1.979 to 1.909 euros.
In Sevilla, Gasóleo A is priced between 2.004 and 1.699 euros; Premium Gasóleo A, from 2.099 to 1.769 euros; Gasolina 95 E5, from 1.794 to 1.569 euros; and Gasolina 98 E5, from 1.968 to 1.819 euros. Valencia presents Gasóleo A prices of a maximum of 1.965 euros and a minimum of 1.649 euros; Premium Gasóleo A, from 2.044 to 1.705 euros; Gasolina 95 E5 between 1.859 and 1.549 euros; and Gasolina 98 E5, from 2.019 to 1.749 euros.
Finally, in Zaragoza, the prices are: Gasóleo A, between 1.958 and 1.749 euros; Premium Gasóleo A, from 2.024 to 1.999 euros; Gasolina 95 E5, 1.869 euros and Gasolina 98 E5, from 1.998 to 1.769 euros.
To save on fuel, the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) suggests several practical tips. These can allow for significant savings of up to 500 euros a year, as well as reduce emissions and improve vehicle longevity. It is recommended to keep long gears, drive at a constant and moderate speed, avoid overloading the trunk, and maintain proper tire pressure. Using the air conditioning wisely can also help reduce fuel consumption by avoiding unnecessary increases in expenditure.
