Route 210 is the bus (locally called a “micro”) that links Estación Central with Puente Alto along two of Santiago’s most important axes: the Alameda and Av. Vicuña Mackenna. It is 27.7 km long outbound and is a Red Movilidad service, the system formerly known as Transantiago. It is run by Consorcio Conecta, which took over the 210 and its 210e and 210v variants in August 2025. As well as “recorrido 210”, many people search for it as “micro 210” or “recorrido 210 mapa”. Here you have the route by section, the variants, the timetable and how to find out where the bus is.

Route 210: from Estación Central to Puente Alto

Alameda. The 210 starts at General Amengual and Callejón Ugarte, passes Concón and joins the Alameda at San Alberto Hurtado station. It runs the whole central axis: Universidad de Santiago, San Borja, Estación Central, Unión Latinoamericana, República, Los Héroes, La Moneda, Universidad de Chile, Santa Lucía and Universidad Católica, up to Plaza Italia.

Northern Vicuña Mackenna. At Plaza Italia it takes Av. Vicuña Mackenna south, via Barón P. de Coubertin, and passes the Parque Bustamante, Santa Isabel, Irarrázaval and Ñuble stations. From there the bus stops follow the avenue’s numbering: Rodrigo de Araya, Carlos Valdovinos, Camino Agrícola, San Joaquín and Pedrero.

Southern Vicuña Mackenna. It continues via Bellavista de La Florida, Vicente Valdés, Rojas Magallanes, Trinidad, San José de La Estrella, Los Quillayes and Elisa Correa, passing the Portal Concha y Toro, the Hospital de Niños and Hospital Sótero del Río station. The last stretch runs via Protectora de la Infancia, the Municipalidad de Puente Alto and Las Mercedes to Plaza de Puente Alto, and ends at Av. Concha y Toro and Av. Eyzaguirre.

The return trip follows the same axis in reverse: it leaves via Balmaceda, goes up Vicuña Mackenna (also passing Mirador station), rejoins the Alameda at Plaza Italia and ends at General Amengual.

210 services and variants

The 210v is the Estación Central – Av. México variant. It follows exactly the same route as the 210 to Paradero 26 de Vicuña Mackenna, past Los Quillayes, and there turns off via Diego Portales and Avenida México (Los Toros, El Peñón, Av. L. Matte Larraín, Av. San Carlos) to Av. Paseo Pie Andino and Av. Eduardo Cordero. It is 28.7 km long, has 86 scheduled minutes and runs 24 hours a day, every day, with about 109 departures on weekdays, 88 on Saturday and 89 on Sunday.

The 210e is the express between Estación Central and Puente Alto. It uses the same axis, but stops almost only at Metro stations: 28 outbound stops against 68 on the 210. It runs Monday to Friday only, from 06:30 to 20:30, with about 19 departures and a minimum interval of 30 minutes in the morning peak. Its scheduled time is 90 minutes, similar to the regular 210.

Route 210 timetable

According to the current DTPM operating schedule (October 2026), the 210 runs 24 hours a day, Monday to Sunday, with about 176 departures on weekdays, 112 on Saturday and 91 on Sunday. In the early hours it keeps running, although at longer intervals than during the day. The 210v is also a 24-hour service; the 210e does not run at night or at weekends.

In the morning peak (07:00 to 09:00) on a weekday, the shortest scheduled interval is 5 minutes on the 210, 10 minutes on the 210v and 30 minutes on the 210e.

How long the 210 takes

According to the operating schedule, a full outbound trip on the 210, from Estación Central to Puente Alto, has a scheduled time of 87 minutes for 27.7 km. The 210v has 86 minutes for 28.7 km and the 210e express, 90 minutes. These are reference times: allow extra time in peak hours.

Bus stops and Metro connections

The 210 has 68 stops outbound and 65 on the return, and passes 30 Metro stations, almost half of its stops. On the Alameda: San Alberto Hurtado, Universidad de Santiago, Estación Central, Unión Latinoamericana, República, Los Héroes, La Moneda, Universidad de Chile, Santa Lucía and Universidad Católica. On Vicuña Mackenna: Parque Bustamante, Santa Isabel, Irarrázaval, Ñuble, Rodrigo de Araya, Carlos Valdovinos, Camino Agrícola, San Joaquín, Pedrero, Bellavista de La Florida, Vicente Valdés, Rojas Magallanes, Trinidad, San José de La Estrella, Los Quillayes, Elisa Correa, Hospital Sótero del Río, Protectora de la Infancia, Las Mercedes and Plaza de Puente Alto. On the return it adds Mirador.

How to find out where the 210 bus is

To see how long until the next 210, use the App Red (in the app stores, “Red Metropolitana de Movilidad”), which is free and has an arrival predictor for each bus stop (paradero). You can also use “¿Cuándo llega?” on red.cl. Enter the bus stop code, printed on the stop sign: it starts with P, followed by a zone letter and a number. At the bus stops on Vicuña Mackenna, check whether the predictor shows a 210 or a 210v: after Paradero 26 they go to different destinations.

Fare and tarjeta bip!

Since 22 February 2026 the adult fare on Red buses is CLP 795 at any time, including on the 210e and the 210v. Secondary and higher-education students pay CLP 260 with the TNE, primary school pupils ride free and seniors with the bip! Adulto Mayor pay CLP 390. You can pay with the tarjeta bip! (it costs CLP 1,550) or with bip!QR from the App Red and other apps.

A single payment covers up to two transfers (three legs) within 120 minutes of the first validation, as long as you do not repeat the same bus route. There is no extra charge between buses; if you transfer from the 210 to the Metro during peak hours, you pay the difference up to CLP 895.

Tips for travelling on the 210

  • If you are going to central Puente Alto, take the 210 or the 210e; the 210v turns off earlier, towards Avenida México.
  • As the 210 runs alongside the Metro for almost the whole trip, you can switch to the train at any station if the bus is slow.
  • The 210e has few departures (about 19 a day): do not wait for it if a regular 210 comes first.
  • At night, the 210 and the 210v keep running; check in the App Red how long the wait is before you leave.
