Line 145 is a national-jurisdiction colectivo (city bus) that links Plaza Italia, in Palermo, with Villa Albertina, in Lomas de Zamora, and with the Mercado Central, in La Matanza. It is run by Rosario Guaraní S.A. and, according to SUBE open data, it recorded about 30,300 trips on a typical weekday in August and September 2026. It is the line that replaced the 141 on the same corridor in September 2020, so if you search for “141 Plaza Italia–Villa Albertina”, today you need to take the 145.

Bus 145 route

The 145 has three regular routes, all with their terminus in Plaza Italia, on Av. Sarmiento between Av. Colombia and the square’s ring road. All three share the first half of the trip: Av. Santa Fe, Av. Scalabrini Ortiz, Villa Crespo, Av. Acoyte in Caballito and Av. Rivadavia, where they use the dedicated lanes of the Centro de Trasbordo Flores (Flores interchange). They then continue along Av. Nazca, Av. San Pedrito and Av. Lafuente towards the south of the city. A and B go via Malabia, Av. Corrientes and Av. Ángel Gallardo; the C goes via Av. Díaz Vélez.

The key split is in Villa Lugano: two ramales (branches) cross the General Paz towards Lomas de Zamora and one heads to La Matanza.

Bus 145 to Villa Albertina via Piedrabuena: branch A

The 145A goes round the Plaza de los Virreyes roundabout, takes Av. Eva Perón and Av. Piedrabuena, continues along Av. Coronel Roca and crosses Av. General Paz at Puente La Noria. On the province side it runs along Camino Presidente Juan Domingo Perón and Lomas de Zamora streets such as Azamor, Claudio de Alas and Homero, to Homero and Bidazoa, in Villa Albertina. It covers about 27 km. On the return trip it enters the Puente La Noria bus terminal.

Bus 145 via Barrio General Savio: branch B

The 145B makes the same trip between Plaza Italia and Villa Albertina, but in Lugano it detours through Barrio General Savio: from Av. Eva Perón it runs along Larrazábal and Av. Soldado de la Frontera to Av. Coronel Roca, where it rejoins the A route towards Puente La Noria. It covers about 28 km. On the return trip it uses the Metrobus Sur on Av. Coronel Roca. If you live in the Soldado de la Frontera housing estates, this is the branch that drops you closest.

Bus 145 to the Mercado Central: branch C

The 145C splits off earlier: from Av. Eva Perón it takes Av. Lacarra and streets in the south of the city to Av. Fernández de la Cruz, where it runs on the Metrobus, crosses the General Paz and continues through La Matanza along Av. General San Martín, Boulogne Sur Mer and Camino de la Virgen María. It crosses the Autopista Riccheri and enters the Mercado Central, where it ends at Av. de Circunvalación and Dr. Ramón Carrillo. It covers about 26 km.

💡 Good to know: all three branches carry the same number and share the whole section from Palermo to Flores. If you are going to Lomas de Zamora, make sure the sign says Villa Albertina; if you are going to the Mercado Central, look for the C.

Timetable and frequency

The 145 is not included in Resolution 801/2024, which set maximum frequencies for many other lines, and there is no official published timetable per branch. According to media reports, in February 2026 the company suspended night services on several lines, including the 145: towards the city there are no buses between 22:00 and 4:00, and towards the province service ends between 23:00 and midnight and resumes at 5:00. We found no official act authorising or reversing that cut, so it may have changed.

SUBE data show a sharp drop at the weekend: about 30,300 trips on a weekday, 18,700 on a Saturday and 7,700 on a Sunday. Before travelling at night, early in the morning or on a Sunday, check the next bus in the BA Cómo Llego app.

Changes to line 145 since 2020

On 3 September 2020 the Secretaría de Gestión de Transporte (Transport Management Secretariat), through RESOL-2020-40-APN-SECGT#MTR, granted a precarious and provisional permit for the new line 145, which replaced the 141. In April 2021 the CNRT registered Rosario Guaraní S.A., successor to Nuestra Señora del Rosario S.A. Unión Transitoria, as the permit holder. The express service the old 141 had is not part of the 145, which instead adds branch C to the Mercado Central. Since then we have found no official route changes; the most recent change is the 2026 night cut reported by the press.

Main stops and connections

At Plaza Italia you can connect with subte (metro) line D. A and B pass Av. Corrientes and Malabia, on line B (Malabia station), and all branches run along Av. Acoyte and Av. Rivadavia, where Acoyte station on line A is located. Plaza de los Virreyes is the terminus of subte line E, and Puente La Noria has the bus terminal of the same name.

Strikes, complaints and operator

The 145 is run by Rosario Guaraní S.A. According to the press, it belongs to the same group as Misión Buenos Aires, which runs other lines in the south of the AMBA. Because it crosses the boundary between the city and the province, it is a national-jurisdiction line overseen by the CNRT. When the UTA (bus drivers’ union) calls a strike, it usually affects all lines in the AMBA; to find out whether the 145 is running today, check the day’s news and the BA Cómo Llego app. To complain about frequency, a bus that did not stop or poor service, call the CNRT on 0800-333-0300 or use the form at control.cnrt.gob.ar, with the line, branch, time and vehicle number.

The fare is paid with SUBE only and depends on distance: from October 2026, with a registered card, it ranges from $742.81 up to 3 km to $1,337.06 for over 27 km. With an unregistered card you pay double.

Tips for riding bus 145

  • Check the branch: A and B go to Villa Albertina, the C to the Mercado Central.
  • If you are travelling towards the city at night, assume there may be no service between 22:00 and 4:00 and look for alternatives in advance.
  • If an app or map shows you line 141, that is the old route: today the corridor is covered by the 145.
  • Use a registered SUBE card and tell the driver your destination when you board, because the fare is charged by distance.
