That morning, while going about her routine, she began receiving congratulatory messages from her representative and friends. “I think I was brushing my teeth and doing my routine when I started seeing messages from my representative and several people saying congratulations, well done. And I was like, ‘What is happening?’” the athlete recounted about how she realized her achievement.
When she picked up her phone to investigate the reason behind the celebration, she found her name on the list of nominees, which caused her even more amazement. “I’m still in shock, like it’s not real, but yes, well, I feel like it’s kind of an extra motivation that tells me that I’m doing things right and having that nomination is like: Ah!, I can be proud of my work,” added Camberos.
