Sporting Cristal hosted Los Chankas in a home match during the eighth round of the 2026 Liga 1’s Torneo Clausura.
From the outset, Sporting Cristal pushed forward, applying pressure in the opposing half to create scoring opportunities. Santiago González opened the scoring with a goal following a rebound in the opponent’s area, finding the net just 11 minutes into the match.
