The National Security Ministry has imposed a 48-month administrative attendance restriction on Ricardo Alberto B., a sitting member of the Board of Directors of Chacarita Juniors, following an assault incident during a match.
The restriction, governed by Resolution 974/2026, prohibits Ricardo Alberto B. from attending any sporting events in the country for a period of four years. This measure is a result of an incident that occurred on September 5 at the Chacarita Juniors stadium during a match between the San Martín club and Atlanta, as part of the Primera B Nacional championship.
According to the report, Ricardo Alberto B. assaulted Claudio Ariel S., an overseer from the Event Security Directorate, by hitting him on the right cheekbone, causing the official to fall to the ground and sustain injuries. This complaint was filed at the Sixth Police Station of San Martín.
The overseers from the Ministry are responsible for inspecting safety conditions at sporting events, including supervising the controls under the Safe Stands Program. The document stated that the sanction was applied immediately, although no specific end date was specified, given that it lasts four years.
Ricardo Alberto B. holds an executive position at Chacarita Juniors for the 2025-2029 term, and the measure taken by the Ministry deems his position incompatible with any act of physical violence against officials during sporting events. No statements from Ricardo Alberto B. or an official response from Chacarita Juniors regarding this sanction were included.
The Event Security Directorate, part of the National Security Secretariat, is responsible for coordinating strategies to ensure control at sporting events and collaborates with local authorities, federal forces, and security agencies.
Access restrictions are a tool used to maintain order and security at sporting events, and in this context, the Ministry decided to apply the sanction and record it in the Safe Stands Program.
