Franco Colapinto will participate in the last practice session of the Italian Grand Prix before qualifying. The activities will take place in Monza, with events scheduled for Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.
On Saturday, September 5, Colapinto will be in Free Practice 3 at 7:30 AM (Argentina time) and at 12:30 PM (Italy time). Subsequently, qualifying will take place at 11:00 AM (Argentina) / 4:00 PM (Italy). On Sunday, September 6, the race, which consists of 53 laps, will start at 10:00 AM (Argentina) / 3:00 PM (Italy).
Colapinto had a remarkable performance on Friday in Monza. In his first practice, he finished in ninth place with a time of 1:24.028 after completing 27 laps. In the second session, he secured the eleventh position with a best time of 1:23.619 after 28 laps. In both sessions, the Argentine driver outperformed his teammate, Paul Aron, who, in his role as a substitute for Pierre Gasly, finished 10th in FP1 with a time of 1:24.177.
The statistics of the Monza circuit are notable, with a length of 5.793 kilometers, a race distance of 306.72 kilometers (53 laps), and a lap record set by Lando Norris at 1m 20.901s in 2025. Colapinto, following his confirmation with Alpine for the 2027 season, is also looking to fine-tune the last details in FP3 before the crucial qualifying.
