The House of the Famous Mexico 2026 started on July 26 with 18 participants and has been reduced to twelve in September. Six contestants have been eliminated, five of them by public vote, and one left the program for health reasons.
Since the beginning of the competition, the show has followed a format where nominations are determined weekly through points awarded in the confessional. Mariana Ochoa was the main participant, but she returned to the house after being rescued from Exile, which led to Ximena Herrera becoming the first to be eliminated.

Content creator Luis Chaparro was the sixth eliminated on August 30 after being faced against Gema Garoa. His stay of 36 days inside the house was the longest among those eliminated to date. Before his exit, Chaparro had been rescued from the Exile dynamic along with Ese Pérez, with whom he had internal conflicts.
On September 1, Aldo Rendón announced his departure due to a health issue that required immediate treatment. His decision was not influenced by voting, but was a personal choice communicated during the gala.
The most recent nomination, which took place on September 2, left Ese Pérez, Gema Garoa, Cynthia Klitbo, Memo Schutz, Yahir, and Flor Vigna at risk of elimination. This nomination was the result of the allocation of points, with Masad Altamimi acting as the leader of the week by nominating the first contestant.
The complete list of those eliminated so far includes: Ximena Herrera (public decision), Arantza Ruiz (public decision), Moisés Peñaloza (public decision), Yanet García (decision of her peers), Luis Chaparro (public decision), and Aldo Rendón (decision due to health issues). The grand final is scheduled for October 4.
The remaining contestants must overcome nominations and internal challenges to reach the final. This conclusion will mark the end of weeks of living together and strategies in the house, where each gala will influence the participants’ permanence.
