Jenss Marty Lara Tantaquilla, a 31-year-old mining entrepreneur who was released after being kidnapped in Trujillo, will give his first statements this Sunday, according to his father, Eleuterio Lara. Eleuterio Lara commented on the Contracorriente program on Willax that his son plans to address the public to share details about his experience. This announcement comes in a context where ransom demands have been reported, with amounts reaching up to five million dollars, by the criminal organization known as ‘Los Pulpos’.
In the conversation, Eleuterio stated that the family has not paid any sum of money for Jenss’s release. However, he requested caution and asked media outlets to conduct their own investigations into the events, highlighting the delicacy of the situation they are facing.
“If a criminal organization comes for you, it’s because they have an intention to do something with you. So, just imagine, (…) it’s already been said. Now, what I want is for you to investigate on your side,” emphasized the entrepreneur’s father, expressing the distress the family is experiencing.
