Reported issues included difficulties accessing the applications, loading errors, and incoherent responses. Using DownDetector, users from Spain, the United States, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico reported that “ChatGPT cannot be accessed or used,” with a notable increase in failures of the OpenAI application.
In particular, ChatGPT was the most affected platform, as around 12:00 p.m. in Argentina, 10:00 a.m. in Colombia, and 5:00 p.m. in Spain, users were unable to access the application. This issue generated a 404 error, indicating that the server connected but did not find the requested page, resulting in ChatGPT loading for several minutes or displaying a notice about access difficulties.
