Mariela Prieto’s exit from the Big Brother: Golden Generation house has left the former contestant visibly disappointed, after not reuniting with Claudio “el Turco” García. Prieto has expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation and has cast doubt on the future of her relationship with García, especially after her interaction with Emanuel Di Gioia on the reality show.
Mariela Prieto was eliminated by public vote and, upon leaving the house, noticed the absence of García, her partner for three decades. In a subsequent talk on La Cumbre Stream, Prieto defended her behavior during the program, stating: “I have nothing to resolve” and adding that her participation was limited to dancing, which should be enough to clear up doubts about her conduct.
Prieto also indicated that the future of her relationship depends on her husband, saying: “He has to decide what he wants, but my word is enough.” She insisted that she always stayed within the limits of the game and that there were no reasons to justify a crisis in the couple.
The controversy surrounding Prieto was due to certain moments shared with Emanuel Di Gioia, particularly an episode where they both recreated a soccer celebration with a kiss. After the incident, Prieto downplayed the situation, stating that it was part of the game’s dynamics and reiterating that it was just a dance.
When asked if she expected to see García upon leaving the house, she was clear: “Of course, how could I not expect him if he is my husband?” Prieto described herself as “an upstanding woman” and expressed her desire to talk with García to clarify the situation, although there has not yet been a public conversation about it.
Mariela Prieto became the first eliminated contestant of the final stage of the program, finishing in sixth place after a face-off with Luana Fernández. The elimination was announced on Wednesday, September 2, by Santiago del Moro during the gala, where the public voted to support their favorites.
