The Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas was the venue for the first security meeting for the 2027 Champions League final, scheduled for June 5 in Madrid.
At this first working session, known as ‘Meeting Zero’, various entities involved in organizing the event gathered, including representatives from UEFA, the RFEF, the National Police, the Madrid City Council, Atlético de Madrid, Local Police, and the Regional Transport Consortium, as well as leaders of the final project.
During the meeting, various strategies related to security and services were discussed, as well as planning for activities in the upcoming months. The importance of organizing and coordinating the necessary resources to ensure a safe and efficient event was emphasized. In terms of mobility, conclusions and relevant data from the previous final held in Budapest were presented.
This meeting is the first of several that will take place in the coming months, with scheduled visits from UEFA and multiple meetings to prepare for the match and other related events, such as the Champions Festival, the Legends Tournament, and fan zones in Madrid.
