AEG has revealed its first specialized cooking plate for pasta preparation during the IFA 2026 fair in Berlin, as part of a product range that includes an ultra-lightweight vacuum cleaner and a robot vacuum. The brand, part of the Electrolux Group, aims to redefine design and functionality in the home.
The new AEG OnePot Pasta Plate from the Series 7000 allows for pasta cooking in 15 minutes, simplifying the process for the user who just needs to select the number of servings, add the ingredients, and close the lid, eliminating the need for complex calculations and constant supervision. This launch follows last year’s introduction of the PizzaExpert oven, which promises restaurant-quality pizzas in just two and a half minutes.
Additionally, the AEG ErgoMini handheld vacuum cleaner was introduced, weighing 0.55 kg but providing suction power that remains effective up to three times longer than other models in its category before needing a filter clean. Another model showcased is the AEG Trilobite 8000 GEN2 robot vacuum, which automatically vacuums, mops, and dries, reaching hard-to-access places thanks to its height of 7.89 cm.
In terms of design, AEG aims to add aesthetic value to small appliances, presenting the AEG Design Collection series, which merges intuitive technology with a style based on German design. Among its standout products is the AEG 3-in-1 oven with Air Fry, which combines a pizza oven, air fryer, and multifunctional oven into one compact device.
The company also highlighted its solutions for garment care, all certified by The Woolmark Company, ensuring their suitability for treating woolen garments. AEG’s washer-dryer machines carry the Woolmark Blue certification and feature adaptive capabilities based on the type of fabric. The 9000X AbsoluteCare Pro dryer includes 3DScan technology, which adjusts drying evenly based on the moisture level of the garments.
Furthermore, Electrolux took advantage of its presence at IFA to showcase its new QuickSelect 2.0 dishwasher range, focusing on efficiency and ease of use in the washing category. The fair served as a platform to showcase the innovations of both brands in the pursuit of a more functional and appealing design for consumers.
