The crime, which involves a pregnant woman and her three-year-old daughter, has caused great shock. Only the six-year-old son survived with the help of his nanny. A testimony reveals that the victims had deposited the money in advance for the rental of luxury properties, but communication was cut off a day before the scheduled occupancy. The capture of Diego Sebastián occurred on the Mexico-Toluca highway on September 2, following the discovery of the victims in a house in Atizapán de Zaragoza. Gerardo “N” was also arrested alongside him. The victims showed signs of violence, with two adults found with gunshot wounds to the head, and the brutality of the attack was evident as one victim was found tied to the family dog.
