Siddhartha will perform at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on September 3 and 4 with two sold-out concerts, focusing on his new album Radio Nostalgia.

In a press conference prior to the shows, Siddhartha spoke about his connection with the audience through his recent songs and the importance of nostalgia and fatherhood in his music. The artist emphasized that concerts are crucial to feel the real impact of his work: “The effect of the album is the moment of playing it.” During these encounters, the compositions transform into a shared celebration.

Siddhartha expressed his surprise at seeing his fans enthusiastically sing along to newly released tracks, noting that “there are songs that just came out and it seems like people have been chanting them for ten years.” The interaction between the composition and the stage is a key aspect of his current artistic phase.

At the shows, there will be different setlists, although Radio Nostalgia will be the central focus, allowing for the inclusion of songs from his previous work. Siddhartha reflected on how nostalgia can serve as a means to appreciate past experiences, emphasizing that his personal journey influences his music.

Fatherhood is another topic he addressed in the conference. For him, being a father has transformed his appreciation for love and priorities in his life, although it has not significantly altered his creative process. “One of the changes is when there is someone else ahead of you,” he stated, referring to his son Mar and the impact he has on his life.

Regarding his music, he emphasized its healing capacity, indicating that it allows for the healing and understanding of personal experiences. Concerning his career, Siddhartha confirmed plans for a concert at the GNP Stadium in 2027 and received sales certificates for his albums from Roberto López, director of Sony Music Mexico. Among the accolades, his album Únicos received double platinum plus gold and several singles achieved significant certifications. Siddhartha concluded by recalling his beginnings in music, reminiscing about moments from his early performances.
