The recent tragedy in Atizapán, State of Mexico, where the keyboardist of the band Camilo Séptimo, his pregnant wife, their three-year-old daughter, a houseworker, and their pet died, has generated social alarm. This crime has not only shocked the community but has also revealed a possible fraud network allegedly operated by Diego Sebastián “N”, the accused of the murder.

Diego Sebastián “N”, a naturalized Mexican of Argentine origin, faces serious accusations following the brutality of the multi-homicide. Testimonies spread on social media indicate that there was a line of fraud related to the rental of cabins and tourist destinations in areas such as Valle de Bravo, Tequesquitengo, and Acapulco, under the name of the company NOMAD. In the days following the crime, many of his accounts, including his personal Instagram profile and the page for his rental business, were deactivated, although his Threads account @sebasrosen26 remains active.

The Threads account, part of the Meta application family, retains images of the accused’s family life and thoughts. It includes posts about personal growth and family experiences, as well as promotional videos of properties he offered, with rentals exceeding 16,000 pesos. However, despite his image as a loving husband, there is also evidence of flirting with other women on the application.

Additionally, Diego Sebastián “N” is implicated in a fraud case related to the rental of a villa in Acapulco. One of the victims reported losing 400,000 pesos when making a reservation for a family celebration, becoming one of several testimonies regarding his fraudulent operation alongside his wife, Paola Mandri. The affected individual explained that the payment was made in advance to a business account, and just one day before the stay date, communication was interrupted, leaving families blocked without answers.

The victim identified Paola Mandri as an active collaborator in the fraudulent scheme, stating that she maintained communication through voice messages assuring everything was going well. The testimony highlights a strong inconsistency between the initial interactions, which seemed professional, and the subsequent rejection of contact.

It is alleged that the couple initially operated under the name Más Relax, which was deactivated after receiving complaints, and later changed to the Nomad brand. Although there have been reports of their behavior since 2021, authorities have not reported any subsequent actions. The affected individual called for the investigation to expand beyond the crime of Jonathan Meléndez, to include other criminal acts in which Diego Sebastián “N” and his wife were involved.
