Lim Bances, a Peruvian businesswoman based in New York, shared her story with Tony Succar, which inspired the creation of ‘Lo Bueno Viene Ya’, part of her new production ASuccar.
Bances spoke about her migration experience, entrepreneurship, and the challenges she has faced in the United States. She was not only the source of inspiration for the song, but also participated as a songwriter and producer of the music video, filmed in Miami. In her narrative, Bances emphasized the importance of conveying a message of hope aimed at those facing challenges in pursuit of their goals.
In the interview, Bances reflected on her first contact with Tony Succar, who became interested in her story after hearing it at his concerts. “My first contact with Tony was after going to a couple of his concerts. Finally, I had the opportunity to share my story with him and propose the idea of turning it into a song: the story of a girl who came from the north of Peru, full of dreams and who today has multiple businesses,” she remarked.
The businesswoman also revealed the most difficult moment she faced, when she was about to give up after losing a significant amount of money on a property. She recalled: “There came a point when we were practically ready to throw in the towel, but God sent us a sign to remind us that we had to keep going and that something good was coming our way.”
Bances expressed her gratitude for the collaboration with Succar, whom she described as a talented artist. “It is a true honor that Tony Succar took an interest in this project. Together we turned my story into a message for the Latino community and for all those people who feel like they can’t go on anymore,” she stated.
In addition to her role as a songwriter, Bances highlighted the importance of the music video reflecting her journey. “I wanted the music video to show my beginnings, my progress, and my setbacks, because it’s essential for people to see the path behind the result,” she explained.
The challenges Bances has faced as a businesswoman in the United States have required constant hard work and discipline. “Paving my way meant working very hard and, above all, being grateful. All those experiences have made me stronger, and I have learned that the journey will never be perfect,” she commented.
The song ‘Lo Bueno Viene Ya’ represents her belief in the future. “It means getting up after every fall and telling yourself: ‘This doesn’t end here.’ It also means believing in yourself and working hard,” Bances concluded. Her story thus becomes an inspiration for young people seeking to achieve their dreams.
