Rocío Carrasco has appeared on the program hosted by her close friend Alba Carrillo on TenTV, where she addressed recent comments made by Gloria Camila regarding legal actions linked to the upcoming documentary about Rocío Jurado. The documentary, titled ‘La más grande’, is set to premiere on June 25 on Movistar Plus and reportedly draws from the secret diaries of the legendary artist, something Carrasco’s firstborn denied in court.
During her appearance, Carrasco expressed her frustration about the ongoing discussion, stating, «Se ha liado, estoy aburrida de este tema,» and emphasized that the issue is unrelated to José Ortega Cano’s daughter. She recounted an experience shortly after the death of her father, Pedro Carrasco, in 2001. At that time, her mother provided her with a large envelope containing photographs and said, «Cuando quieras lo lees para saber quiénes eran tu padre y tu madre.» Carrasco admitted that she did not pay much attention to the envelope during such a sad time and left it untouched in a closet for years.
Recently, while preparing for the documentary and looking for photos, Carrasco rediscovered the envelope. She described finding a yellowed plastic cover that seemed dirty but later realized it was aging. Upon opening it, she discovered a biography her mother had written, which became significant for the documentary’s narrative. «Era una biografía de mi madre,» she explained, noting that it encompasses her mother’s life from birth until her separation from Pedro Carrasco. Carrasco made it clear this information was to clarify any confusion, especially regarding Gloria Camila. 
With emotional depth, she shared how these texts have been incorporated into the documentary, revealing the contrasting images of Rocío Jurado in public and private. Carrasco stated that Rocío Jurado and Rocío Mohedano were fundamentally different, highlighting that Jurado’s boldness contrasted with Mohedano’s traditionalism. She remarked that people often did not recognize this duality and that her mother would never have coldly stated, ‘no siento nada al hacerlo contigo.’
In a heartfelt moment, Carrasco reflected on her upbringing, stating, «yo nunca he tenido grandes aspiraciones. Ser su hija ha sido lo más maravilloso que puede tener un ser humano.» She noted that her current friends have become her family, especially given her lack of a relationship with the Mohedano family, asserting that those who truly care are the most crucial support in her life.
